It seems quite limiting to have to put photos into the SCRAPBOOK folder, when the photos are already in other folders. This is especially true when importing a GEDCOM file that references photos in multiple folders.
I'd like PAW2 to access photos in ANY folder on the HDD (or on a named volume).
Note, also, that on my Brother's MAC, I had to put the photos into the same folder as the program, PAW couldn't find them if they were in the SCRAPBOOK folder.

Hi, You can access images anywhere on your disk(s). When you add an image, PAWriter initially has the Scrapbook in the Open dialog, but you can navigate anywhere to select the image. This is not recommended because it limits the portability of the images. Please read the Reference guide topic Basic Navigation > Accessing Pictures, especially the last few paragraphs. The folder named Scrapbook must be in the same folder as PAWriter so PAWriter can easily find it. Best, Howard
