Hi Howard I started a new thread but it suddenly disappeared due to finger trouble - so hope this is not a duplicate. I am thinking of buying an iPad, but my main computer usage is for family history based around PAW2U and easy transfer of information from Ancestry etc sites. I believe the iPad only uses special apps approved by Apple. After the success of porting PAW as a universal application do you have any thoughts for iPad? best wishes

Because of the touch interface on the iPad, there are problems with a heavy data input and print output program like PAWriter on the iPad. I've read about attempting to input on the screen keyboard, and it definitely is not recommended for heavy use; the accessory keyboard would be needed. So no, no plans for the iPad. Best, Howard
