What's the problem with the age calculation on the family pages? The birthdays are correct, but the ages are completely bogus. According to PAWriter, my Mom is 30 years younger than me!

Are you sure you are reading the ages correctly? The Husband and Wife ages shown are those at their marriage. The age of a child shown when clicked once on his/her entry is the mother's age when the child was born. Best, Howard

That makes much more sense! For the children, it isn't a problem, since it clearly states that it is "when mother was age...". For the man & wife, however, there is no indication that it is the age when married. It just says "Age". Perhaps you could just add " when married." after the age shown to make it less confusing to newbies like me!

You might try using "rollover" help on any item in most any window when it doesn't seem clear. Click on the About Help button in the main window or choose About PAWriter Help in the Help menu to see how to use this. It's very convenient for newbies and pretty thorough. I tried to make this button and menu item as obvious as I can but people still ignore it! Best, Howard
