Would you consider adding a utility function to normalize data? The way that I use PAWriter is to import the GEDCOM file that I export from Ancestry.com. Often in Ancestry.com names and dates are entered in a combination of upper/lower/mixed case, and it would be wonderful to have to option to convert all dates, for example, to the format 01 Jan 1900 (from 1 JAN 1900 or 1 jan 1900, etc), and to convert names from John SMITH to John Smith.
Again, thank you for considering this request.

GEDCOM and all dates are normalized for display as 1 Jan 1900 and are normalized in registers etc. in the regular register fashion (months with five or less letters spelled out, those with more than five letters abbreviated to three letters and a period. GEDCOM surnames when imported are normalized to title case, i.e., capitalized first letter, rest in lower case. These are not options. I don't have any plans for further normalization, nor for making such as options. Best, Howard
