For a quick look at a person's vital information in the main window, hold down the option key and roll the cursor over the person's button. A window will pop up displaying any birth, baptism, death and burial information for that person. When you roll the cursor off that person's button, the window disappears.
This works for person buttons in the descent and pedigree windows as well.
In the main window you can also option-rollover a family button to see any marriage information.
In a family window, you can option-click any person to see any vital information for that person.
In the main, descent and pedigree windows, you can command-click on any person's button to see a draft report on that person without having to make that person the current person.
In version 65 and later, you can see a draft or timeline report on any person in the main, family, descent and pedigree windows by control-clicking on that person and choosing View Draft or View Timeline from the popup menu. (In version 65 and later, command-clicks are removed and replaced by the control-click contextual menus.)
