In the state abbreviations list, we need "IT" for Indian Territory. And maybe "TH" for Territory of Hawaii as well.

In the state abbreviations list, we need "IT" for Indian Territory. And maybe "TH" for Territory of Hawaii as well. I have limited the state abbreviations to those that are listed as current in the official postal code sites. The abbreviations are just conveniences, so one can always spell the full name out -- in any case, the full names are what are stored in the file. There are alternatives to this noted in the Version 81 thread under the What's New topic on this forum which cover a lot more ground than just state abbreviations. Many users in other countries have asked for more state abbreviations, in particular Australia. But there is no end to what I could add to the list of state abbreviations, so I stopped at the "official" postal codes. I suggest you investigate one of the alternatives (which I use heavily for all sorts of abbreviations) such as TypeIt4Me, Text Expander or Typinator as referenced in the Version 81 thread. They provide a lot more options in this regard, and can cover abbreviations not only for historical "states" such as Indian Territory, Territory of Hawaii and Territory of Washington [later the state] but also for Upper Canada, Lower Canada, Canada East, Canada West, etc. Best regards, Howard
