Can anybody explain why I am not able to open PAWriter from the Dock icon or anywhere else either? The trees I had have all disappeared, (about 7 0f them) as well. In My Documents where the trees were, still have the tree icons, but clicking on them only produces a D/D Box which reads: " There is no default application specified to open the document "Joe Blow" etc. beneath this message are two buttons : "Cancel" and "Choose Application" Clicking Choose Application opens a list, but there is no reference to PAWriter or any of its files listed, hope someone can help, thanks for taking the trouble to read my plea for help, johnmac in Australia.

Maybe you accidently deleted your PAWriter folder/app? Does spotlight show PAW2X? Did you check the trash to see if it's there?
