I work on a MacBook made in 2009 and I also work very closely with a number pad for easy of putting in dates and times, but I have a large problem working with this program with the particular number pad I own. It is a Targus Model PAUK10U It says it's for Windows use, but it has worked excellent on several other programs I have except this one. It has a bad habit of deleting or canceling the window I'm working on unless it's the wedding date. I have a feeling this is just a programing issues. Please if this can be looked in to that would be wonderful.
Thanks

I found the answer to my own question. Should anyone else have this issue here is your saving grace. This doesn't work with a mac unless... Do exactly as I say and it will work fine: 1. When your Targus keypad is disconnected press and hold the Num Lock button. 2. Connect your Targus Keypad USB cable to your mac USB port (not a hub) while still pressing and holding the Num Lock key. 3. When the Num Lock green LED light goes on, wait for exactly at least three seconds (count 1, 2, 3) then release the Num Lock Key. 4. Now it shouldn't Beep and it will work fine in programs like Excel. (and in PAW2U) This is where I found the solution forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=271149Thanks
