I have an older, operating PowerMacintosh G3 with PAF 2.3.1 that holds all my data and files from the 1990s. How can I transfer that data intact into my new iMac with OS 10.5.2 and use PAWriter to edit and add to my files?

Move the GEDCOM to your iMac. Launch PAWriter and choose File menu > Import GEDCOM. Locate the GEDCOM and click Open. After the import is done, save the file and check the listing file generated by the import for things PAWriter had a problem with, if any (just like the listing file PAF generates on import). Best regards, Howard
