If you have a scroll wheel or ball on your mouse, you can enlarge the screen and hence the PAWriter windows in OS X by pressing the control key and scrolling the wheel up. Press control and scroll down to shrink the screen.
Cool trick that works at least in OS 10.4 Tiger and 10.5 Leopard!

Doesn't seem to work in 10.7.3. Just did it in my 10.7.3. Works dandy. Make sure your Universal Access preference for Seeing, Zoom Options "Use scroll wheel with modifier keys" has the control key symbol ^ set in its box, which you do by pressing the control key when in the box.

I have Mac OSX 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard). How would I go about enlarging the viewable area while running PAW2U?

David Same way as before, roll the mouse scroll wheel up while holding down the control key. Note that Universal Access system preferences is now Accessibility preferences, the little white figure in a blue circle.
