Our file consists of two branches, Davis ancestors and Mallinson ancestors. Is there a way to share the information for one branch without including the other branch? My sister is not interested in including my wife's ancestors in her files. One obvious solution would be to duplicate the file and then delete the individuals in one branch. That would take quite a while.

That would take quite a while. You might try this. Make your wife the current person. Choose Tag menu > Tag Ancestral Branch of This Person. (Maybe remove the tag just of your wife.) Then choose Person menu > Delete All Tagged People. I suggest doing this on a copy of your data file. Best regards, Howard
