I was just playing around when investigating my husband's ggggrandfather and pressed a button on geni.com that says "See how you are related". About 5 minutes later I had a link in my inbox that showed a common ancestor from the 1300s that links my tree with my husband's. Now I want to know if there is any way to connect the branches so i don't have to enter back up through all the generations of one and back down through all the generations of the other and to actually show that these branches are connected. Is there some "attach" or "connect" function in PAW? www.geni.com/path/Marjorie+Snelson+is+related+to+John+McCutcheon?from=6000000004269206356&to=6000000011882632845

If so, then you can import that GEDCOM into PAWriter and link the two ancestors to your existing two ancestors as parents. If not, then you've got to enter all of them manually. But first please read the topic "Importing GEDCOMs into an existing file" under FAQs in this forum. Best, Howard
