Hello everybody!! I want to know if there is a limit of characters in the name of the file. I had some problems becouse I added new persons and information, I saved it, the number of members increased and changes are "saved" but when I close it and open it the file did not save any changes. Later I rename the file with a small name (because the previous was to long) and all changes are saved. Do you think is that the reason? or is there any other explanation? regards Milciades

The name was _Bosque Genealogico 4 febrero 2007 and there were similar versions like _Bosque Genealogico 1 febrero 2007

The name was _Bosque Genealogico 4 febrero 2007 and there were similar versions like _Bosque Genealogico 1 febrero 2007 I might suggest that the leading underscore could create a problem, but more likely is that the name contains more than 31 characters (34 to be precise). BTW, note that PAWriter will truncate such long names for compatibility with OS 9. So "_Bosque Genealogico 4 febrero 2007" will be saved as "_Bosque Genealogico 4 febrero 2".
