Hi Howard, I have been using the Events for Tagged People report and find that I cannot always order the children of a family in birth date sequence. I don't have the birth dates for some people and would rather not put in guesses.
I looked to using the RIN number but these are allocated in the order that I created the records. Is there a way to re-apply the RIN number to the records?
The Family window lists the members in the order defined by the user irrespective of the birth date. Perhaps this sequence number could be included in the Events for Tagged People report?
Many thanks Eric

Many thanks Eric Hi Eric, There's nothing that will accomplish what you want except entering Say (Est) dates in the children who have no dates, since you already have entered them in the right order. Then when you sort the events in your spreadsheet program among other sorts therein, you should get what you want. For Say/Est dates, see the PAWriter Reference Guide topic: Basic Data Entry - Entry of a Date For the Event files, see the PAWriter Reference Guide topic: File Menu > Write Text > Events for Tagged Peopleā¦ Best, Howard

Howard, Thanks for the response. Regards Eric Hi Eric, Upon re-reading your previous post, I think you should know that you can re-order children in the family window by simply dragging a child up or down in the list. Best, Howard

Thanks Howard for the update. However it is the order of the report generated by 'Events for Tagged People' I want to influence. I did the hard slog of adding a column to my spreadsheet and hence forth I can re-use this in a vlookup function. Regards Eric
