Howdy,
When I do the write text, the option after possible problems(?), it happily sits there and makes the text file list.txt but nothing else. It just hangs my powerbook. Sorry I am not more precise, but I'm in a library sans macintosh

Sorry I am not more precise, but I'm in a library sans macintosh Hi Gary, I'm not clear on what you mean by "hanging" your powerbook. If you mean it's not doing anything, that's ok. You should just double-click on the list.txt file to view the list of possible problems. Then continue with whatever in PAWriter. If you mean PAWriter writes the file and then crashes, you might send me your PAWriter file and I will see if I can replicate the problem. No one else has reported this problem and I haven't run into it (writing a list of possible problems is something I do every day, at the end of a session, for the past several years), so if this is the case I need to analyze it. Best, Howard

I misunderstood your question. The option after Possible Problems was List of Tagged People. You are correct that this hung PAWriter. This has been corrected in version 70.1 posted Monday 4 June 2007. See the forum topic What's New > Version 70.1. Sorry I missed this.
