When trying to add a child I have to hold the shift key and double click it in order to add a name. I don't remember this needing to be done this way in the last release. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Hi, I tried to replicate your problem with no luck. Double clicking New Child in the Family window brings up a new Person window to add the child, as always. So far no one else has reported this problem. I used OS X 10.4.11 Tiger and 10.5.2 Leopard to test this. What Mac and what version of OS X are you using? Also it is possible that the download of version 80 was corrupted, especially using dial-up or slow DSL. One user who has dial-up had to download PAWriter again and then it worked just fine. Best, Howard

Howard:
Thanks for responding so quickly. I am currently running OS X Version 10.5.2 on a 2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo iMac. Well I tried it again and just realized I need to adjust my click speed. I guess I was just double clicking too slowly. Sorry about that. Keep up the great work with the program. I have to honestly tell you I have looked at all of the software out there and still go back to Personal Ancestry Writer II. Thank you again.

I just did something sort of similar. All of a sudden when accessing Ancestry.com and looking at source census images, the images just failed to display. But they still downloaded. A pain not not know before downloading whether a family was continued on the next sheet. I thought all kinds of bad things. But, duh, I had accidentally and unknowingly clicked "block images from this server" instead of "save image as" in a drop down menu. Took me awhile to figure it out. (BTW, I have exactly the same iMac and OS here.) Best, Howard
