Is it possible to print a pedigree with the RIN for each person? No. Sorry. Since RINs can change when people are deleted and new people added reusing deleted RINs, and since RINs have no meaning outside of a given file, I've made no effort to include RINs in reports (with one exception that affects almost nobody).

Is there a forum for total genealogy newbies? I am clueless and just starting to use this software and just doing this for the very first time. I am going through my Dad's notes, which are pretty complicated and lengthy, and confusing. Where do I put long, well written family notes for a family group? Too many questions to ask at once, obviously. Thanks for this forum.

I generally put notes for a family group in the notes for the husband or wife, whichever is of more interest to me or pertinant to the information. Please read the topic in the Reference guide, Basic Data Entry > Notes, to get a start on entering notes. You can make your Dad's well-written notes look almost identical to the way he originally wrote them, with footnotes, indented quotes, italics, boldfacing, etc.
