PAW2U is the universal binary version of Personal Ancestry Writer II, aka PAWriter. The following change was made in this PAWriter version 90 (posted on Sunday, 22 November 2009): - An error in GEDCOM import introduced in version 88 was corrected. It caused all text to run together.

Hi Howard I have now been using latest versions of PAW2U for routine recording and printing since early November, so seems a good time to report. Though generally replicating the non-universal program for the user, is a real improvement, particularly noticeable: - faster response - more stable - cut & paste from the notes to other programs now works (for paragraphs I think) I haven't had to use many of the less usual menu items but I haven't found any glitches yet. One minor irritation is that when saving notes I often get warnings about US postcodes which of course are anyway not applicable to the UK eg "1 possible problem found:1 occurrence of an unexpanded postal code: ME." Summary: great program very cleverly realised in the new universal version. Thanks Kind regards Roger

Sorry about the warning for unexpanded postal codes; really needed it myself; best to keep other text normally capitalized to minimize the warnings. Thanks for your report. Version 91 should be posted next Friday. A few obscure problems fixed, and lists of people now include all people regardless of the number of people on file -- jillions of them, if you have that many on file, all in the same listbox. Best, Howard
