Q: Can I make the font size in PAWriter larger?
A: No, with one exception. In the preferences window, check the box labeled "Use larger type in zoomed notes." Then when you are viewing a person's notes, you can click on the zoom button (the one with the infinity symbol) or press command-M. The window will enlarge toward the right and bottom of the screen and the font size will be increased. Click on the button again or press command-M again and the notes window and font size will return to their original sizes.
Thus, pressing command-NM quickly opens the larger notes window with the increased font size.
This feature is provided because you will spend a lot of time creating and editing notes in PAWriter. The notes will contain all of the evidence -- substantiation, documentation, background information, clarification, interpretation and/or other relevant commentary -- pertinant to a person on file; whereas the entries for a person's vital statistics (birth, marriage, death, etc.) will represent your best current conclusions as to the true facts, given the information in the notes.
