Q: What motivates you, Howard, to make changes to PAWriter? A: First, of course, when a user finds or I find an error in the program. Second, when during my own ongoing research, I find something that would make data entry quicker or easier, and the implementation of the feature isn't too costly to me, i.e., doesn't interfere with my own research or stop me from having a life. This also applies to things that other users find and communicate to me. Third, ditto for making navigation simpler, more obvious or easier. Fourth, ditto for increasing the clarity or completeness of reports. And maybe another reason or two. Note that I use a whole version number when I release a new version with changes. That's because I've found decimal version numbers not very meaningful to most users, much less me. As the old saying goes, "Keep it simple and stupid."
